Large group plenary sessions and smaller group breakout sessions over two and a half days will cover assessment and management of STIs, strategies for providing trauma informed care, adolescent and rural health issues, an update on contraceptive methods and provision strategies, primary and preventive care for a variety of conditions affecting sexual and reproductive health, a Title X update, and more.
The closing keynote panel discussion, “Closing the Gap in Immunization Disparities: Promoting Awareness, Access and Uptake in People of Reproductive Age”, will prompt reflection on the importance of preventive health care in promoting sexual and reproductive well-being. In the opening keynote and panel discussion, “Advancing Reproductive Justice: Fostering Client-Centered Care, Increasing Access and Reducing Stigma”, researchers, clinicians, and client advocates will discuss personal, historic, and structural factors that shape clients’ experiences with sexual and reproductive health care. The pre-conference skill-building sessions will include IUC placement and removal, non-directive pregnancy options counseling, and strategies for basic infertility evaluation. This year’s National Reproductive Health Conference (NRHC) will be hybrid, with in-person and virtual attendance options.
